Commission of Corrine and Mr Tom
In 2005, Steve Brailsford contacted us to commission a portrait of his daughter Corrine on her horse Mr Tom as a surprise for her special birthday. He sent through a wonderful selection of photographs taken at their stables in the UK, and we immediately spotted one image that would make a stunning full-body painting.
Nicholas and Steve decided on a 24 x 18 inch canvas, which would suit the proportions of the composition and fit perfectly in the space they had planned for display. The finished painting captured the elegance and bond between Corrine and Mr Tom, and was a joy to create.
