Hi Nick,
Just to let you know the portrait arrived safely today. It was my mum's birthday today so perfect timing! She was absolutely thrilled, it really is beautiful, thankyou so much! She is going to get it framed and then send you a picture.
Thankyou for helping me give her such a special birthday, it really means a lot.

Hi Nick,
Just to let you know the portrait arrived on Thursday but I have waited till today to give Dad his present as the whole family was here. We all think it is fabulous and we had a laugh when he realized he'd signed for his own present! Dad is thrilled with it. Thank you Nick for all your hard work and to you as well Melanie for all your help.

Ffion absolutely loved the portrait! I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but Meg had passed away fairly recently. Ffion and the rest of her family thought it was a lovely present and a fantastic likeness. Indeed, everyone was very surprised by the attention to detail of the work e.g. the collar and the tag and all the little colours on Meg's paws!

Hi Nick
I think my sister has beaten me to it to let you know what she thinks about your painting. I think she quite likes it!!! It was priceless to see her face when she opened it up - the surprise, wonder and emotion. She thought Nick's artwork was absolutely incredible - the light, the texture, the way he captured their little wet noses! The likeness and detail to the photos is totally remarkable.
I was particularly pleased that my sister was thrilled with Minnie's portrait (the black cat on the left). Minnie is my Sue's shadow, a complete "mummy's girl". She's not a healthy cat and in most photos she looks a bit bat-like, so that this has come out so well is worth more than its weight in gold.
And the frame - absolute perfection!!! Sue's husband thought that I had taken a frame from one of their mirrors! It works to perfection - love your framer, please do pass on my huge thanks and complements for a fantastic selection. Thanks again to both - it's been a pleasure!! Sharon x

Dear Melanie and Nick,
The portrait has arrived safe and sound and is absolutely beautiful- the colours are so rich and it is just like Sherry!! Thanks so much for getting it to us today, on the 21st! It was a great thrill to receive it.
Our present to Jess was the purchase of Sherry, whom she has had on lone for ages now and intended buying when she finished varsity and was working. She is over the moon now and it makes the portrait even more important! We feel really happy with the picture and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you- Jess has already been showing the copy to her friends at the stables!

Hi Melanie - well he arrived today I'm just speechless. He is beyond stunning. Just brilliant! There is not one thing I could alter. And I'm so glad I went up on the size as he is literally life size which I didn't realize he would be. It's like he's just sitting in the room with me. He's just beautiful Melanie - as beautiful as he was in real life - I could not be happier!! I'm a big sap and of course cried, but they are happy tears. I'm just so thrilled to be able to have this wonderful memory of him to carry with me always. He was such a special boy - there is not a day that goes by I don't think about him - so to have this to see everyday is just wonderful. It's just so very special.

Finally, we have the lovely portrait of our beloved pet, Maybelline, you so conscientiously painted, framed and on the wall. Hello Nick, We have at last had the fabulous portrait of our Lizzie framed and have attached a photo for you to see. The framer was brilliant, very experienced in pastel work. After looking through 15 frames and 20 boards I felt this the best combination for both complimenting the lovely colours of her as well as the velour.
I am absolutely delighted with the portrait. She now hangs next to our french doors in a corner not open to direct sunlight or near a radiator and it is aboe a corner where she would sit and watch the world go by. Everyone who sees it are breth-taken by the detail and beauty.
I cannot thank you enough for the delight you have brought in bringing her 'alive' to keep a watch over all we do. John swears she is frowning at him as she used to! Best wishes,

Hi Melanie,
Gail's mum has recently moved, and now that her new home is fit for decoration, she has put Sam's portrait at the focal point of her living room. The picture is a bit grainy but the frame is a graphite coloured wood, with light and dark border to accentuate the pencil lines.
Jean is just thrilled with her piece of artwork! She was really pleased when we presented her with it on her birthday last year, and knowing she would be moving she kept it safe before framing and hanging it. Now she admires it every day, laughing to think Sam was once that small!

Hey you two,
Our picture of Herby is up on the wall and has been for a while. I’ve taken some pics, but with the flash and all, I’m not sure they really show how fantastic it looks. People have commented on the ‘photo of Herby’ and it’s not until they climb on the sofa and check that it becomes apparent that it’s actually a fantastic pastel painting.
We are all very pleased with the final picture, although of course it also sometimes makes the kids feel a bit sad.
We would all like to thank you both for providing us with our Herby picture, we all look at it every day.

Hello!
Ted and Kate were totally stunned & speechless with it and had no idea, which was great, he hung it up straight away (which means he reeeeaallly likes it) in the main part of the house so I can see it every time I go up there :-))) Everyone who's seen it has loved it.
I printed out the almost finished scan and went with my best friend to play around with matt colours and frames before it got here, so the matt colours are oyster and a reddish brown, the frame is a very dark brown with red tones to it, even the chick at the framing place commented on how gorgeous it looked. Thanks so much, it's just brilliant!

Hello Nick,
The portrait is beautiful - looking at it brought a few tears - you have
captured them so well - the frame is a perfect choice. As soon as I put the portrait on the wall, Blitz (Whisky's brother) jumped on the back of the settee to have a look and put up his paw.
