Welcome to my Happy Customers Pages. When I started painting pets about 10 years ago I would never have dreamt that I would receive so many wonderful letters of heart felt thanks. It often reduces me to tears when I read them, they are so personal that half of them i am unable to reproduce in full on these pages as i often feel it wouldn't be right somehow. When a client has sadly lost their pet, the emotions they release when they see their beloved animal immortalized on canvas always comes across their their letters. One particular client I remember working for said that he was a big hefty 6 foot man, hard as nails rugby player, yet he cried like a baby when he received the portrait i did for him after he lost his beloved dog. Its a great release and I think a wonderful part of the healing process. "Its almost like having them back in the room again" some clients have told me. I have even had visitors look at my site, not even planning on purchasing a portrait and email to say how wonderful the letters are and how they found themselves glued to these pages with tears rolling down their cheeks. So I hope you enjoy these pages, I hope that some of the stories don't pull at your hear strings too much and if you would like your pet immortalized on canvas, just email me at any time. |

| Hi Melanie, I can't remember if I sent you an email saying that I received "Rocky" in the mail on Saturday and I love it. I dropped it off today to have it framed and matted. I picked a very rustic frame and I hope it turns out as nice I expect it to. You did a gorgeous job and I know that Mark will love it. Of course when I asked how long it will take to have it framed, they said two weeks!! Yikes, after the trouble you went to to have it here in time! Hopefully it will be ready by the 15th! 'll send a photo when it's back. (It was hard to leave it there. I hope they take good care of him) Thanks again Betsy Hi Melanie, I don't think I ever wrote and told you about Mark's reaction to the portrait of Rocky... He LOVED it! It brought tears to his eyes. | Melanie, You have such talent! Your eye for detail, color and depth is a gift from God. I have forward all the pictures to my mother and she cries every time she sees them. It is like Gipper is sitting in the room with us. Thanks for helping me in the grieving process and providing my a piece that will help me remember her for a lifetime! I can't wait to "get her home." Thank you so much for your hard work on this. Iris Melanie, Gipper arrived today in the mail. I prepared myself as I opened it too cry, because I miss her so much. I did indeed cry not only because I miss her; but, because you did such an amazing job! I know you are told over and over you capture the pet and their personality so well, that's because you do! She looks so real...I wanted to pet her. You have a God given talent and you are able to bless so many people by providing them with memories of the little angles that have touched their lives. | Oh Mel, I absolutely LOVE it! Its perfect! Thank you so much. Everybody I have showed the emailed final scan of the oil is blown away by it and how much like a photograph it is. Never before have I seen such a wonderful oil painting. Even if it didn't mean so much to me I would be so amazed at the depth of the likeness and character you have captured. But its all the more special as its of my beloved girl. You have so done her proud! I never usually have a problem with articulating how I feel, but my goodness I am overwhelmed by these! | Hi Mel, I am so pleased with it - I just cannot believe how close the liking is to Maisey - no wonder you having such a long waiting list! We may be calling on you again for another gift, this time for someone in Canada but that will be later in the year. Thanks so much again - it is beautiful. The picture is really Zach!. I looked at the boy himself and back to the picture and you have painted Zach, You really are amazing. I would like to buy some prints of his picture please could you tell me how I do this and how I pay you. |
