Pet Portrait Photo Guide
Welcome to my pet portraits photography section. One of the first questions clients ask is - what kind of photos do you need for a portrait? For a head study or a full body portrait the absolute ideal kind of photos are the ones below. Please click on the images and they will open in a new window so you can view them in a larger size. As you can see the animals are close in the frame, none of their limbs, ears or tails are cut out of the scene and both photos would make fantastic portraits.

With the popularity and ease of digital cameras, its so easy to be able to take many, many photos and come out with at least one or two good snaps. There are no processing costs involved so my advice would be to keep snapping away until you are happy with your results - after all you can just delete them if you don't like them! If you are ready to take new photos of your pet or you have a photo album with ones to choose from to send, please take a look at the sections in the navigation on the left as it will give you a great idea of the kind of photos I am looking for to work with. |
