The majority of my pet portraits are purchased as gifts, either for birthdays, anniversaries, christmas etc. Due to my pet portraits being in demand i am working to a 14 week timetable and this doesn't often coincide with my clients deadlines. So i have devised a unique system whereby the recipient can receive their own special 5 page website (client area) including a gift webpage (example shown left). My client webpages are held on my showcase website that i share with my husband Nick, who also uses this service for his clients. The website is a showcase for both of our work, it has information about both Nick and myself, has examples of the step by step process we take in our work, gives guides and examples of all the mediums we use, explains about the client areas and gift webpages and of course had galleries for clients to look around.
I built this website so that when clients receive their webpage on their special day, they can then look around at our work, see what we do, to give them an idea of the type of portrait or painting they will be receiving.
The client area is not within my main website to ensure that the recipient of the gift does not easily stumble upon my price list, thereby allowing the clients to keep the cost of the portrait a secret.
I don't provide gift certificate through the postal system, but if you wish to hand the recipient something on the big day, I can personalise an A4 gift certificate, and email it direct to you, for you to print and give to the recipient.
