Hi Melanie....I thought your e-mail was going to tell me that you were starting work on the picture.  Imagine my surprise to see a final scan already!

Melanie, the portrait is absolutely stunning!  You did an amazing job capturing his expressive eyes and I couldn't be more pleased.  I'm speechless and I know Jeff will love it!  You have a gift and I'm so glad you shared it with me in bringing my precious boy to life!

You can go ahead and post the final portrait on my webpage that you set-up. Jeff is absolutely clueless so it's perfectly safe to post it there.

"Bailey" English Springer Spaniel portrait in Oils On Canvas 12 x 10

Alyssa Dermott, from Canada, wanted to commission me to paint her English Springer Spaniel, Bailey, as a gift for her husband. She wanted a 10 X 12, oil on canvas, head and shoulders and took photos especailly for the portrait. Alyssa told me "Every single day when I take him for his walks, I receive a compliment from at least one person, if not more, regarding what a good looking dog he is, and that's been happening since the day we got him.  He's a great dog!" I agree with Alyssa and the portrait certainly shows him at his best!  You can see a photo of Bailey above along with the portrait and a detail below.
