Pet Portrait Painting Information
Naz was a dearly loved Rhodesian Ridgeback who was owned by Nicky from the UK. She commissioned me back in 2006 to create a portrait in oils on cotton canvas 16 x 12 size. I have added some stages of the portrait, the photo that I worked from and a final scan plus detail of the painting. I hope you enjoy this page of information and if you would like to commission us to paint your pet don't hesitate to email us at any time.
The Pet Portrait Painting in Progress....
Photos are taken during the progress of the portrait in our studio. The lighting can change throughout the day which can account for colour differences between each stage.
Final Pet Portrait with Detail....

Client Pet Portraits Reference Photos
The photos depicted below may vary in colour to the finished painting above. This can be due to the scanned oil painting being slightly different to the original or often clients give us more than one photo to work from i.e. one for the pose and another for colouring.

Client Testimonial
Hi Mel, I opened the portrait (once I got through the bubble wrap!) as soon as I got home on Friday night. It is brilliant! I thought I would know what to expect as I had seen the scans etc and they were fantastic but the actual portrait exceeded all my expectations. As you know, Naz had to be put to sleep in March and it broke my heart. As daft as it sounds, I feel that he is back with me in a small way when I look at the portrait, so thank you.
Thanks again
Nicky
