 Dear Melanie,
Abigail has just arrived. We lost her just over 8 months ago and to be honest, I have had great difficulty in coming to terms with this, as I am sure you understand.
The portrait you have done for me is totally incredible and almost beyond words. I feel that she has found a way of coming back to keep an eye over us. I never really appreciated how moving a painting of a loved one can be - I have no idea how you have managed to capture her not only in looks, but also in character and spirit. We are so lucky to have found you and your talent.
I am having difficulty moving away from the picture at the moment to get on with my day! I can't thank you enough for what you have done for me. I don't know if Pete mentioned.....we have two more bunnies......!

"Abigail" Rabbit pet portrait in Oils On Canvas 20 x 16
Peter and Juliet commissioned me to paint their Rabbit Abigail who they sadly lost. They wanted me to portray abigail in the garden, in the long grass which provides a very natural setting for her. They were delighted with the outcome and Juliet sent me a wonderful email, you can read in full at the top of this page. |
