Pet Portrait Painting Information

Tiffany from the USA contacted me in 2006 to paint Fel Belle's portrait in oils on cotton canvas at 20 x 16 size. I have added some stages from the portraits progress, the final scan, a detail from the portrait, the reference photo i used and two lovely emails from Tiffany too. I hope you enjoy this page of information and if you would like to commission us to paint your pet don't hesitate to email us at any time.

The Pet Portrait Painting in Progress....

Photos are taken during the progress of the portrait in our studio. The lighting can change throughout the day which can account for colour differences between each stage.

Client Pet Portraits Reference Photos
The photos depicted below may vary in colour to the finished painting above. This can be due to the scanned oil painting being slightly different to the original or often clients give us more than one photo to work from i.e. one for the pose and another for colouring.

Client Testimonial

Dear Melanie, She looks sooooo beautiful! You have captured Fel's character perfectly. It could not be any more perfect. It makes me cry and I can't wait to see the painting in person! I could not possibly explain what this piece of art means to me. It will be cherished always! Thank you for all of the time you put into this painting Melanie, you are very gifted. When it comes time to ship the painting I wanted to make sure you had the correct information. I am moving, and have a different address for the painting to be sent to. Just let me know when it is shipped so I know when to expect it! Much love, Tiffany

Dear Melanie, I received my painting of Fel today! I was sooooo excited to see it! It is even more beautiful in person. I will always have her in my heart, but now I can see her everyday also! Thank you for that!
I will take a picture and email you when I have it framed. I am going to enjoy it for a week before I take it to the frame shop! I will be in touch, thanks again.
Sincerely
Tiffany
