Pet Portrait Painting Information
This is Reggie who was painted on cotton canvas at the size of 12 x 10 for two clients in the US called and Sally and Becky in 2008. Since painting Reggie's portrait I have also painted their other dog Millie which can also be seen in our oil galleries and in the framed photos at the bottom of the page. They had both paintings framed in matching frames and are a perfect pair. I have added some stages of when I painted the portrait and also a final scan along with a detail of Reggie's portrait. Sally and Becky emailed to thank me for the portrait and you can read their testimonial too. I hope you enjoy this page of information and if you would like to commission us to paint your pet don't hesitate to email us at any time.
The Pet Portrait Painting in Progress....
Photos are taken during the progress of the portrait in our studio. The lighting can change throughout the day which can account for colour differences between each stage.
Final Pet Portrait with Detail....
Client Pet Portraits Reference Photos
The photos depicted below may vary in colour to the finished painting above. This can be due to the scanned oil painting being slightly different to the original or often clients give us more than one photo to work from i.e. one for the pose and another for colouring.

Client Testimonial
Melanie, What a beautiful portrait of our dog, Reggie. You captured his best features, ears and the intelligence in his eyes, so well. We can hardly wait to get it and hang it up.
