Zach, the working sheepp dog, was commissioned in early 2006 and the clients from the UK visited us, along with Zach, so we could take photos of him especially for the portrait. Sadly I have lost the original photos I took of Zach and have no step by steps of this painting but i do have a good scan and close up for you to view. It was a 20 x 16 oil on cotton canvas.
