"Charlie" Spaniel in Oils On Canvas 20 x 16
Here you will find the full painting of Charlie and you can click on the smaller version left to view a detailed version of the portrait. 'Charlie' is a Spaniel owned by Karen Everitt UK. I painted Charlie from one main photo, using another for the background. I painted him on fine grain canvas board to the size of 20 x 16 in oils. Below is an email from Karen when she recieved the portait.

Above is a close up detail. This portrait was painted on 20 x 16 professionally stretched canvas using fine quality oil paints. Oils usually take a couple of weeks to dry depending on the thickness of the paint and the colours used. The sizes of canvas I use are standard sizes that can be framed either by a professional framer or for ready made frames.

Melanie Charlie has arrived safe and sound this morning. I am absolutely thrilled with him and I know my Mum will be. What a surprise it will be for her. I will take a picture and forward that to you.
