Pet Portrait Painting Information
Milly is a beautiful working Cocker Spaniel and Harriet, UK, commissioned us to paint her for her brothers birthday in 2006. The portrait was painted in oils on cotton canvas to the size of 16 x 12. Spaniel have to be one of our favourite breeds to portray, such beautiful loving eyes and I think this portrait shows this feature well. I hope you enjoy this page of information and if you would like to commission us to paint your pet don't hesitate to email us at any time.
The Pet Portrait Painting in Progress....
Photos are taken during the progress of the portrait in our studio. The lighting can change throughout the day which can account for colour differences between each stage.

Client Pet Portraits Reference Photos
The photos depicted below may vary in colour to the finished painting above. This can be due to the scanned oil painting being slightly different to the original or often clients give us more than one photo to work from i.e. one for the pose and another for colouring.

Client Testimonial
Hi Melanie
We are absolutely thrilled with it! It is such a likeness to her, we can't get over just how well you've captured her. And such perfect timing that I was back in the country to collect it! My brother will love it - he is on holiday until the weekend so will get it on his return. He has been getting at me for ages about not getting him a 21st present so this will certainly shut him up! Thank you so much, it will be very much treasured as Milly is a very special dog - it couldn't be more perfect.
All the best Harriet.
