Traditional frames are available in a wide range of mouldings and any size of portrait will suit the mouldings we have on offer. The larger the portrait the wider we would suggest the moulding to be, however this is personal preference.
The example hanging on the right is a sample portrait we asked our framer Mike to frame for us, and its hanging in our own home. We opted for the Light walnut 2-toned (1 inch wide) moulding and this suits the portrait perfectly.
We can recommend mouldings if you would like help with your frame, we can advise you which we feel would enhance the colours within the portrait itself.
Pastel and Pencil portraits will be mounted / matted and framed under glass.
This is optional for the oil portraits, if you would prefer to have your oil portrait mounted/matted and framed under glass please let me know as soon as possible when ordering.
