The slips really enhance the painting as it sets the moulding slightly away from the painting and also adds a depth and three dimensional quality to the overall appearance of it. As you can see in the examples below, I have taken a close up photo to show the linen texture of the slip with its wonderful curve. It is a wheat colour, which compliments the subjects in the frame beautifully. All of our mouldings work with the inner linen slips so there is plenty of choice. The slip also makes the frame slightly larger and draws the eye into the painting.
