The Mount / Matt
Pastel and pencil portraits are mounted / matted with high quality archival Bainbridge board with a precision cut beveled edge. It is fade resistant and will protect the portrait for years to come.

The Backing
The portrait is backed with Bainbridge backing board which is also archival quiality and it protects the back of the delicate paper.

Putting it all Together
The ensemble is positioned and held together with professional conservation framing tape. The self adhesive strip will not deteriorate over time.

Protective Corners
i provide plastic protective corners to protect the portrait in transit. I would suggest leaving the corner on while handling the portrait, but obviously remove them before placing the portrait in the frame.

Framed Portraits
If you require the full package and would like your pet portrait to arrive professionally framed, we can do everything for you.

The portrait will be mounted/matted as above and professionally framed in a moulding of your choice.

The Frames
We have a large choice of frames, pastel and pencil portraits are framed under glass and oil portraits can be framed with or without glass depending on your preference.

We have two styles of framing which we call our traditional style and our deluxe range.
