Delivery of Your Pet Portrait

All of our portraits are sent flat packed. The linen canvas is ready stretched on a wooden frame and all portraits are protected with strong packaging to avoid damage through the mail. Our portraits are packed using Art Gallery & Museum recommended materials. They are packed safely and securely and wrapped in a large waterproof outer covering. The address labels are always safely secured onto the portrait using document envelopes.

How The Portraits Are Sent
We use the following services for posting our portraits, depening on the size of the portrait its destination and the speed of the delivery. Special delivery, Parcel Force 48, International Signed For and Global Express ParcelForce, UPS and DHL.

Delivery Prices
The delivery prices range depending on which delivery service you choose. The delivery can be chosen in the shopping cart, we have a section of buy now buttons for UK Delivery and Overseas Delivery.

We do not profit on the postage, for some of the services we charge the exact amount and for the more expensive services we meet some of the costs of the service as they are costly particularly for overseas deliveries. We would prefer to send it the best way possible and have it sent safely and tracked, so we try to help with the costs of this. We also purchase the packing supplies which consist of a special gallery standard protection covering for the portrait, plastic corner protectors for pastels and pencil portraits, Hardboard, bubble wrap, waterproof covering, document envelopes and reams of parcel tape along with our time for packing each portrait which can take up to an hour for each one depending ont he size and medium. Again we try to cover some of the costs of these as we dont want it to be prohibitive for our customers, however we want to make sure the the portraits are packed to the highest possible standard.

We take the utmost care over each parcel that we package and make sure its packed perfectly. In all cases we have spent hours and hours lovingly painting or drawing the artwork and so this stage is very important. The last thing we would want is for you to receive a beautiful drawing but for it to be damaged in some way.



Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the terms and conditions page. If you are about to order a portrait, we would like you to read the terms and conditions below and then complete the short form at the end of the page. 7 Day Ordering Money Back Guarantee
Customers have a 7 day money back guarantee upon ordering their portrait. As long as customer request a refund within the 7 days they will be refunded in full without charge.

If you wish to cancel your order, after the 7 days please notify us as soon as possible, a charge of 20% will be made to cover shopping cart fees, administration, mockups and emails. The credit / debit card the customer made payment with will be refunded, minus the fee. Refunds cannot be made to another person or credit / debit card.

Cancellation Once Painting Process has started.

If you wish to cancel and the portrait has already been started, there will be a cancellation fee of 40% of the total cost of the portrait.

Rejection of Portrait Once Approved and shipped to customer
On receiving an approved portrait, you have a period of 7 days to contact us about any further changes required to the portrait. If the portrait needs to be returned for alterations the customer must meet the costs of shipping.

Once the alterations are made a new scan/photo of the artwork is sent for approval. If after the changes have been made, the customer is still not happy and would like a refund there will be a cancellation fee of 60% of the total cost of the portrait.

If a customer receives an approved portrait and wishes to have a refund and refuses us the opportunity to make changes, a refund will only be made once the customer has returned the portrait to us. We will then complete the refund - there will be a cancellation fee of 60% of the total cost of the portrait.

The credit / debit card the customer made payment with will be refunded, minus the fee. Refunds cannot be made to another person or credit / debit card.

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are valid for two years from the date purcahsed by the recipient.

Copyright Information
We retain copyright on all the artwork. All commissioned artwork is displayed on the on the easel blogs and once complete may be added to a gallery page on our websites. Customer emails, in whole or in part may be used as a testimonial in the customer comments and in the gallery section. If you would prefer us not to display these you can opt out when you fill out the terms form upon ordering.

Selected artworks are licensed to a small cross stitch company in the US. I respect the privacy of my clients, especially if their pets have passed, and so do not use my artwork for any additional financial gain. All text and images must not be used or copied either in full or in part on this website.

Damage in Transit
In the unlikely event that a painting or drawing is damaged in transit, the artwork must be sent back to us in its original packaging, upon which I will repair or replace it. Overseas clients, please take photos of the artwork and email these to me to discuss the best course of action.

Full Payment before work Commences
Work on paintings or drawings will only commence, once payment in full has been received.

Privacy
We would like to assure you that your personal information will never leave the confines of our website. You will not receive junk email, regular mail or unsolicited phone calls.

Security
You are able to order your portraits and gift vouchers directly from our website. We use Worldpay as our payment provider - the safest way of purchasing online.
