Spaniel Pet Portraits
Spaniels have to be not only our favourite breed to paint but we think they are our favourite breed of all dogs. They are so loving and they have such expressive eyes.
I have recently been featured in a Japanese magazine, the article was about my spaniel paintings and my love for spaniels.
This page is just a very small selection of the spaniels we have drawn and painted over the years, we have created portraits of all types of spaniels and you can see more of them in our galleries.
Spaniels are perfect subject for pastels, pencil or oils. Their coast work well in all of these mediums, particularly in oils and pastel due to the medium being so soft and able to blend.
Nicks portraits are the pastels and mine are the oils.
