Labradors Pet Portraits
Labradors and Labrador Retrievers are very popular breeds and below are just a small range of the portraits i have painted over the years.
Each dog has its own unique character which i enjoy capturing. My main aim when painting a pet portrait for a commission is to capture the owners dogs character and personality. its easy to paint any dog but much more difficult to paint 'your' dog. I really like painting the Goldens on darker coloured backgrounds, it really helps to accentuate their colouring.
