Well I think the first thing I have to talk about today is the weather! It is very, very, very windy and rainy here in Wales. We have a storm at the moment and so are by the sitting room fire with the laptop. Snowy the duck is safe in her house at the bottom of the garden as Nick has braved the weather to check on her!
We have also been to collect a print today from Diane who printed Sir Winston of Montgomery for me. She did an extra one as it was printed a little too close to the edge of the canvas so I have photographed both below. One will definitely be here for the studio to show clients when they visit. It will be a good sample to show.

Prints of Your Portrait!

As promised Melanie had a photoshoot yesterday of the prints and original portraits of both the Westie portraits I have just completed and the pastel horse I did a few weeks ago. I have added them below. The Westie client emailed a lovely message which I have added below too.
Oh my gosh, they are amazing!!! I knew they were going to be good but they are beyond anything i could have imagined. I am actually speechless, which is quite a feat for me. I’m so excited, I can’t wait to give them as presents. Love Angela

Pet Portrait Giclee Prints
Filed Under Prints of Pets Portraits | 2 Comments
The prints are ready for Missy Rose and Chester and I took the opportunity to photograph them today. I was able to take photos of the portrait of Missy Rose and the print together however Chesters portrait is already with the client, and they requested two prints so that they can have him in their in their offices too.
The prints are prefect, they are Giclee prints, so are light-fast and are printed on high quality canvas – not canvas paper, but professional canvas which gives them a lovely texture. We had them printed by a local artist who has a gallery and studio along with a huge Giclee printer which she uses to print her own prints on. She is a successful artist and is very well known locally. You can visit her website here – Diane Mathias – www.dianemathias.com

Here you will find up to the minute news from the studio and see the pet portraits we are currently working on. You are more than welcome to contact us at any time!
All of the paintings you see on our blog are commissions from clients worldwide. We traditionally hand paint or draw every pet portrait ourselves. There's no digital trickery involved! We start by drawing out the image by hand and follow on with painting in oils, pastel or in pencil and you can follow each stage we make here on the blog on a daily basis.
