Here is the final stage of Butus portrait along with a close up detail of the portrait. I will hopefully take a video of it tomorrow and chat about it further, I haven’t done a video for ages so im looking forward to it. The weather says its going to be sunny so hopefully it will be lighter in the studio. I resorted to taking the portrait out in the garden to take the final photo as its been pouring with rain all day today and is over cast and it was so dark in here the photography lights weren’t helping at all. Its stopped raining so I took my chance. Maybe ill take the video outside, that might make a change : )
I will hopefully post the pencil drawing that’s been on and off my easel this week while I have been waiting for the final drying stages of Butu so ill post that too. Then its the spaniels to post. As I mentioned yesterday they are all blocked in so ill catch everyone up with their progress too.
Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend? We are working, but might take Saturday afternoon off, need to take a trip to the garden centre to get some plants for the garden. Now we have put down the gravel for the paths I want to get some alpine plants to dot around. I need to take some photos as its looking quite nice now, much better than a few months ago when it looked like a building site for the log shed! I planted my peas but the mice (grr) got in and ate them all. Its either the slugs or the mice in my garden and because we back onto woods there are lots of critters about! Tsk!
