Heres a miniature portrait i did of Lady, a westie, with her ‘baby’ by her side. Shes so cute and a great subject to draw for a ‘mini portrait’ at the size 8 x 6.

Heres a copy of Webster i did just in time for a birthday on the 22nd. Websters owners asked to have prints and gifts with his portrait on too. I’m gradually catching up adding my portraits to the blog, stay tuned there’s more to follow! : )

I have another instalment of one of my portraits, i have about 5 more to put up so im hopefully going to add some more tomorrow. This is a portrait i did of two dogs, the Labrador was the main focus though as you can see. The client has a lot of input of how the portrait was designed and i think it works really well!

Well guys i am sorry i have been so quiet this week, i don’t even know where to begin! Things have been busier than ever! But now im here to update everyone, and hopefully over the next few days try to blog all the portraits that i have been doing. Its just been quite a coincidence that a lot of my portraits were for deadlines in these few weeks – it seems like everyone has a birthday around now hence me working overtime!
So here to start with is my first news. I have been asked to be in a Japanese magazine and im just writing the article this weekend and gathering some paintings for them to use. Its not coming out till November so i will be itching to see a copy when its published! The article is about my spaniel paintings and me as an artist who loves spaniels! I had some photos taken today with Jet my friends spaniel. She is just the most gorgeous cocker spaniel you’ll ever meet, so cuddly and friendly, she sits on my lap pretty much the whole time im there! So here are a couple of photos for you to see!
Ill start adding some of my work for you to see first thing tomorrow!
